Hey, it’s me…the girl usually BEHIND the camera! Before I tell you a little about my passion of photography, I’ll tell you a little about myself.  I’m a girl who comes from two completely opposite cultural backgrounds, who LOVES people.  I've traveled all over the world, from Spain to Hong Kong, finding the difference of people and places fascinating, while finding the similarities comforting.  I’ve basically been a globe trotter since I was a tot, and I plan to keep traveling the world & experiencing life in it’s various, beautiful forms until the day I die.

 

 I have a PRETTY awesome husband & teammate  to share this venture with. He's my biggest fan, encourager and supporter--he's THE coolest. You're gonna wanna meet him, and you probably will. But as much as we love this gig, our favorite one is being parents. We have a little stinker named Jude. She's the coolest & funniest kid we've ever known (insert "all parents say that" here). I even begin to describe how more vibrant life is now that I'm a mom. My family is the most important thing to me, and I would wear myself to the bone any day of the week for them-they are my everything.

 

I love meeting people, experiencing different cultures and actively trying to help people come to the realization that we as a human race really are ONE. I truly believe that if everyone could arrive to this realization by reaching out to one another with an open heart, our world would be one of peace and love. I will preach kindness over all things, all day, every day.  I don't take my claws out very often, but you can guarantee I always will when it comes to human rights; it is my weak spot. Aside from the serious, I’m a big foodie, with no shame in my food game. I could probably win the contest for most movie ticket stubs ever in a lifetime. Yes, I’m a movie (and music) junkie! Movies, fashion, and music are my biggest creative inspirations—music being #1. I can turn on a song and a bubble of creative vision will almost. always form. I genuinely believe everyone is given a talent, but you have to make the effort to find it. Once you find what that is, if you love it, work your booty off to do something with it. Trust me...from there, it's all history. 

 

With a degree & background in Marketing & Advertising, I guess that's where you'd say I got my start—but teaching children for 4 years (I also have a teaching degree & LOVE children) is oddly what helps set me apart from those in my field. Teaching children furthered my ability to relate to people, make them feel comfortable and make even the toughest kiddo smile! My goal with every shoot is to sincerely get to know my clients and help them to be in their true element when they are in front of my camera. I have professional experience in wardrobe styling, which is where my interest in photography began. Is why I’m such a fashion addict? Nah. I’ve been like that since I was old enough to know what fashion was.

 

I haven't met a person who wasn't beautiful; I know I sound full of it, but it's true. Every time I sit down to edit, I'm blown away by each person's unique beauty. The human race truly amazes me.
